Senior Executive, Suntec Improvement Team
Responsibilities
  • Familiar with both Builder & M&E works including Addition & Alterations Projects, retail & office fitting out works, relevant authority requirements and submission procedures
  • Conduct feasibility studies & provide budget estimations for proposed works
  • Conduct checks on fitting out work including monitoring of work progress and site safety
  • Co-ordinate with Facilities Management & Engineering (operations) teams, vendors, tenants, and their contractors as necessary to ensure site queries are resolved and defects are completed
  • Building BQ based on scope of work & feasibility study conducted
  • Manage calling of quotations & tenders by conducting briefing, site show round, discussions and liaison with consultants & contractors etc.
  • Evaluate proposals and quotations received, conduct project awarding exercise and contract administration including employer instruction, completion certification, defects list & rectification
  • Evaluation of payment claims and VO certifications
  • Prepare pre-handover condition report and arrange for taking and handing over of premises
  • Review and check construction shop drawings and details proposed by contractor/ vendor and to supervise works to ensure that they are carried out in compliance to approved scope
  • Manage project schedule to deliver project on time
  • Review and collate as-built drawings and documentation including authority approvals
  • Support daily building operational matters, working closely with operations team to ensure smooth operation of the Mall
  • Establish good rapport and working relationship with tenants, follow up with them to ensure that necessary periodic maintenance works including kitchen exhaust system and duct work cleaning, servicing of plumbing and sanitary system, periodic pest control inspections are carried out, including the submission of servicing reports
Experience
  • Min Qualification: Diploma in Facilities Management, Project Management or M&E 
  • Min Experience: At least 2 years of M&E experience in a commercial or shopping mall environment in a similar role. 
  • Familiar with project management and proficient in technical areas of Fire, Building, M&E and Workplace Safety & Health Codes of Practices, Regulations and Act will be advantageous
  • Certificate such as Project Management, Senior Fire Safety Manager will be advantageous
  • Ability to work under tight timeline, Self-motivated, driven, analytical, assertive and a good team player
  • Quantity Surveyor (QS), Architecture, M&E, Interior Design consultancy background are welcome to apply
