Executive or Senior Executive, Tenancy Design
Description
- Retail Tenancy Design Vetting – Review Tenants’ Shop-Fit Design for multiple malls under APM’s management:
- Familiarize with design guideline, required plan submission and fit out procedures of respective mall
- Issue Design & Fit-Out Guideline to incoming Retail tenants
- Conduct design briefing and discussions on tenancy design matters to incoming Retail tenants
- Receive, collate, and review with creative input tenant’s shop fit design proposal in respect of compliance to design guideline and respective mall positioning criteria
- Present tenants’ proposal to respective Landlords for management’s design approval
- Articulate and communicate management decisions for design issues especially those outside of guideline
- Resolve and find solutions for design issues to achieve objective as above
- Work closely with Retail Marketing & coordinate with respective CMO’s (Centre Management Offices) include Suntec City, 9 Penang Road, Lazada One, etc. and to conduct joint periodical visual site inspection on fit out works to ensure compliance to approved design
- Track tenant design submission, maintaining records for respective mall, where required
- Conduct joint Pre-Operation Inspection together with CMO
- Assist respective CMO’s to Review design changeovers where required
2.Property Management Support – provide support in following:
- Consolidate Tenancy Design progress and Fit Out status from Retail Operations into Reports for weekly Retail Tenancy & monthly PMM (Suntec City Mall)
- Take and understand Retail Marketing’s & Retail Operations’ brief with aim to provide AutoCAD drawing and area calculation for proposed layout changes in tenancy unit configuration for A&A works &/or AEI
- Provide preliminary design conceptualisation and visualisation for AEI
- Assist Retail Operations in providing AutoCAD drawings for ad-hoc projects
3.Conduct Retail Tenancy design audit before lease renewal Property Services - Support in department function goals
- Digitization of the Retail / Office Tenancy Guides
- Update & maintain Tenancy Design Guide
- Projects and initiatives purposefully designed to improve mall environment
4. Ad-hoc duties – Include these below, etc:
- Support design team duties
- Execute design team’s Corporate Digitization roadmap
- Maintain and update reports, electronic & physical file folders
- And others, where required
Responsibilities
- Min Qualification: At least Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline
- For Senior Executive role: At least 3 years of experience in commercial and retail tenancy design. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for the Executive role.
- Confidence and experience to understand & communicate regarding design and technical issues is necessary
- Able to take initiative to work proactively, under pressure and with flexibility in a fast pace environment
- Good organizational skills, meticulous and able to work with minimal supervision
- Resourceful, and able to apply critical thinking to provide timely and innovative solutions with deliverable results
- Good communication skills, proficient in English, both written and spoken especially with people from diverse background. Good command of Mandarin required
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Knowledge of CAD is essential
